Soccability Canada Event Coming to Calgary

Soccability Canada is coming to Calgary to host a showcase event for adapted soccer programming here in Alberta. The weekend welcomes all players with an impairment for a player identification camp hosted by Drew Ferguson (Canadian National Para Soccer Coach), PowerSoccer event and lots of opportunities to engage as players, coaches, and parents.
- Friday, August 9th: Coach/parent social event at Eastside Memorial FC Development Centre, 640 28 St NE.
- Saturday, August 10th: Soccability Try-It Event at the Shane Homes West Soccer Dome, 11014 Bearspaw Dam Rd NW.

There will be a player identification opportunity with Drew Ferguson, Head Coach of the Canadian National Para Soccer Team. Potential athletes qualify with Cerebral Palsy, stroke, or traumatic brain injuries.

Sunday, August 11th: PowerSoccer players take centre stage at Mount Royal University, 4825 Mt Royal Gate SW.
Step onto the soccer field, no matter your age or ability. It's an inclusive event for individuals with learning disabilities, amputations, vision impairments, and physical or neurodiversity (autism, ADHD, ODD). We're all in this game together!
This showcase presents opportunities for everyone in Calgary and across Canada to support the development of inclusive and adaptive soccer pathways.
