MUSC awarded national Youth Club License
Congrats McKenzie United Soccer Club!
CMSA is immensely proud of Mckenzie United Soccer Club and the work put in by their club to become a National Youth Club License holder. Their commitment to becoming a nationally recognized organization for players to develop and enjoy the game of soccer is admirable. CMSA's Technical Plan speaks about "Better Clubs = Better Game", and CMSA is delighted to have MUSC contribute to making the game better in Calgary with this achievement through bettering their club.
The Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licence recognizes the highest achieving organizations from across Canada and rewards them with the Canada Soccer Approved Youth Soccer Club endorsement and associated MLS Home Grown Player benefits. Organizations achieving this license display characteristics and demonstrate behaviors aligned with the highest expectations of governance, administration, infrastructure, and technical, support their Member Association and Canada Soccer Pathways and participate in the highest level of competition in Canada; the Canada Soccer Player Development Program.
MUSC becomes the 7th CMSA Member club to be awarded the License. Calgary SouthWest United, Calgary Foothills Soccer Club, Calgary Villains Soccer Club, Calgary Rangers Soccer Club, Calgary West Soccer Club and Eastside Memorial Soccer Club make up the other 6.
CMSA is committed to continuing to work with our member clubs to improve their environments and organizations to align with best-practice from Canada Soccer. Congrats MUSC!
