CMSA alumna Mya Jones honed her soccer skills in her early years with Calgary Foothills FC and Calgary South West United. Representing Canada in international competitions from 2014 to 2020, Mya’s accolades include a gold medal from the 2014 CONCACAF Girls’ Under-15 Championship, a silver medal from the 2016 CONCACAF Girls’ Under-16 Championship, and an appearance at the 2020 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship.

Her remarkable talents led her to the University of Memphis Tigers, where she continued to display exceptional soccer ability. In 2023 alone, she received numerous recognitions including the AAC West Division Championship, AAC Championship, a position in the All-Conference First Team, and the prestigious 2023 AAC Offensive Player of the Year award.

On January 12ᵗʰ, Mya etched her name in history as the first Calgarian and CMSA alumna to be drafted to the NWSL through the 3ʳᵈ round of the NWSL Draft by San Diego Wave FC. Her unprecedented achievements continue to inspire the CMSA community.
