CMSA has 31 member clubs that you could coach for. Step 1 is finding the club that best suits your needs. Check out our MEMBER CLUBS page to explore our member organizations and apply directly on their website.
Once your club has confirmed your registration, proceed to Step 2.

The NCCP is a national database for all coaching education and your individual NCCP number is your primary database for all coach education you will complete as records are housed in The Locker.
This number will be needed for all coaching courses.

All participants have their own CMSA profile (Household Account). CLICK HERE.
Through your profile you can view teams you are a part of, update relevant information such as your email address and upload your photo for Step 6.

Once your chosen club accepts your request to with coach or become a team official, you will be placed on a "team roster". This means you are officially listed as a part of a team.
To request a Volunteer Voucher, please email lfisher@calgaryminorsoccer.com . Once requested, CMSA will confirm that you are in the system, and provide you with verification.
After receiving your Volunteer Voucher, you can begin your application online. CLICK HERE and scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Perform Police Information Check"

Your Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach education module differs depending on which age group you would like to coach for.

Get your ID card and Communicate Completion Of All Courses With Your Club
Required for all team officials on U10-U19 teams, you can obtain your CMSA ID card by visiting our office during regular office hours or by appointment on select evenings and weekends.
Your ID card will only be issued if you have completed Steps 1 – 5 above.
